NCL’s Freestyle Cruising - Happy Kids.... Happy Vacation
Want to finish your family vacation still speaking to your children? This question usually triggers the parental nodding of heads and not so fond memories of the last bonding trip. But not all family trips have to end up like a sequel to National Lampoon Vacation starring the Griswold family.
Maybe it’s time to put your family out to sea on an NCL cruise. Known for their great children’s programs, NCL’s Freestyle cruising is the icing on the cake.
There are organized programs on every ship covering all ages—Juniors (Ages 2-5), First Mates (Ages 6-9), Navigators (Ages 10-12), and Teens (Ages 13-17).
Freestyle flexibility allows you and your offspring to adjust your dining and entertainment schedule each day to accommodate interests and energy levels. Attended child care in the evening allows mom and dad to enjoy a romantic dinner date at Cagney’s Steakhouse. And teens can get together with friends they’ve met onboard and have dinner together in the dining room or the buffet. Each ship has a special kid’s buffet selection—no spinach or lima beans in sight!
Trained counselors provide the necessary supervision. Parents of children in the Juniors (ages 2 – 5) program are issued beepers so they can remain in touch with the counselors.
What more could you ask for in a kid’s cruise program? How about family friendly accommodations? NCL has lots of them! From connecting cabins to multi-bedroom suites, there is sure to be something that fits your family and your budget.
